“Nuomi Xiang,” Semnostachya menglaensis, is an herb that grows in Yunnan Province and has a distinct, beautiful scent of fresh sticky rice. The herb is blended into puerh tea to give a sweet, aromatic, “glutinous” note to the tea drinking experience that is sometimes also compared to Pandan leaf.
