Developed in Taiwan, the Jin Xuan tea cultivar is famous for incredibly creamy and aromatic “Milk Oolongs.” This tea is a departure from that, because it is processed as a black tea. The result is an incredibly smooth and mellow brew that doesn’t over-steep and has virtually no tannins or bitterness. The Jin Xuan black has a very light body but grows on the palate with each sip.
