Limited Special: Foshou Oolong from Taiwan
on What's New
We are thrilled to bring this intoxicatingly delicious tea to you. Foshou (also known as “Buddha’s Hand”) is a highly prized tea cultivar that originally came to Taiwan from the Minnan region of China’s Fujian Province. This tea was produced in the Pinglin region of northern Taiwan, which is famous for producing Baozhong. This rolled, semi-oxidized oolong is charcoal baked, yet wonderfully delicate and floral. Foshou often has a very dry finish. This batch, however, is much less markedly dry and lingers on the palate for many infusions. $16/1oz, while supplies last. You can pick up a package from the Teaism Tea Shop in Penn Quarter or order online here.
