Upcoming events:

Photographs by Laura Carroll
4 March, 2010
Location: Teaism Penn Quarter, 400 8th Street NW (at the corner of 8th and D Sts. NW), lower level. Laura Carroll is a freelance photographer specializing in destinations off the beaten track. Trained at the Washington School of Photography, she has spent the last three years crisscrossing the globe, documenting her travels through a passionately curious lens. Fascinated by new landscapes and the people who inhabit them, she sets out to capture the unique spirit of each country on film. Her goal is to bring images of seldom-visited places to a wider audience, thereby making the world a smaller and more familiar place. Photographs from Russia, Mongolia, and China.

Small scale framed art quilts
1 March, 2010

Paper Collage Exhibit - Nan Goss
1 March, 2010

Nan then assembles and reconstructs them on canvas in beautiful harmonies of color and texture.

Chile: Amidst the Andes - Photos by Tim Forbes
1 March, 2010
Location: Teaism Dupont Circle, 2009 R Street NW (at the corner of Conn. Ave and R Streets) Taken over a two week period in July 2009 throughout Chile with a primary focus on the Atacama Desert, these images are glimpses - great and small - of Chilean landscapes, highlighting salt flats, sand dunes, and rock formations, small slivers of natural beauty in cactus and geyser, and splashes of people-placed color in church windows and street art. 20% OF SALES WILL BE DONATED TO THE CHILE EARTHQUAKE RELIEF.
